The summaries below are intended to make our policies easier to navigate. They are not a substitute for the full text of each policy, which is the operative document. If a summary and the policy it summarizes differ in any respect, the full policy governs.
Privacy Policy
Describes the categories of information Connecting Odds collects when you create an account, build a profile, message a connection, apply to a job, or browse the network; how that information is used to deliver the service; the choices and controls available to you; how long records are kept; and how to make an access, correction, export, or deletion request.
Terms of Service
The contract between you and Connecting Odds. Covers account eligibility, acceptable use, the license you grant us to display your content, subscription and payment terms for paid tiers, third-party services, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, dispute resolution, and how the terms can change.
Cookie Policy
Explains the small number of cookies and similar client-side storage technologies Connecting Odds uses for authentication, preference storage, security, and privacy-respecting analytics; distinguishes strictly-necessary storage from optional analytics; and points to the in-app cookie preferences controls.
Acceptable Use
The rules for behavior on the platform. Prohibits harassment, spam, impersonation, scraping, malware, illegal content, and misuse of recruiter tools; explains how violations are reported, how we review them, and the consequences that can follow, including warnings, feature limits, and account suspension.
DMCA Policy
The process for submitting a Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) takedown notice for material you believe infringes your copyright, the process for submitting a counter-notice if content of yours has been removed, and the designated agent and address to contact.
Data Processing
For customers who use Connecting Odds to process candidate personal data on their behalf. Describes the respective roles of the customer as controller and Connecting Odds as processor, the categories of data and processing activities, the subprocessors we rely on, and how to request a signed Data Processing Addendum.
How our policies fit together
Our Terms of Service describe the relationship between you and Connecting Odds and set the rules for using the platform. Our Privacy Policy sits alongside the Terms and explains how we handle personal information. The Cookie Policy zooms in on client-side storage and analytics choices. The Acceptable Use Policy operationalizes the behavioral rules in the Terms — spam, harassment, scraping, and other prohibited conduct are defined there in concrete terms. The DMCA Policy explains the specific process we follow for copyright complaints. The Data Processing document is used by customers who use Connecting Odds to process candidate data on their behalf and want a formal record of the respective roles and safeguards.
Together these documents form the legal framework for the product. We try to write them in the same voice we use for the rest of the app: direct, specific, and free of decorative jargon. Where a specific legal term is required, we use it, but we try to explain what it means in the surrounding sentences.

Regional notices and controls
Some regions grant additional rights over personal information. Where those rights apply to you, they are described in the Privacy Policy under Regional rights. In every region we support the same core self-service controls — you can review your data, correct it, download an export, or delete your account from your account settings, without contacting us. Where a law requires us to respond within a specific window, our Privacy Policy lists that window and the process for verifying the request.
Changes to our policies
We update these documents from time to time. When we make a material change we will post the updated document on this page with a new Last updated date and — for changes that affect your rights or obligations — notify you by email, an in-app banner, or both, in advance of the change taking effect where practical. Older versions of key documents are retained for reference and available on request.
A note about qualifications and scope
This hub is maintained by Connecting Odds and describes our current app-visible controls and practices. It is not an independent verification or certification of any specific standard. Where a policy refers to a platform capability, that capability is provided as-configured; where it refers to a customer commitment, the customer is responsible for its own configuration and use. Sections that would ordinarily rely on facts we do not have, or on certifications we have not obtained, are omitted rather than approximated. If a specific certification, subprocessor list, or contractual term is important to your due diligence, please write to us and we will let you know what we can share.
