Data Processing
Last updated: 6/21/2026
This page summarizes how Connecting Odds processes personal data on behalf of recruiters and companies who use the platform to source and hire candidates. It supplements — and does not replace — the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Roles
For candidate profiles created by members, Connecting Odds acts as the data controller. When a recruiter or company uses the platform to source candidates, message them, and review applications, the recruiter / company acts as a joint controller for that processing activity, and Connecting Odds acts as processor in respect of those instructions.
Categories of data
- Profile data (name, headline, location, skills, experience).
- Application data (resume, cover letter, application status).
- Communication data (messages exchanged with candidates).
Security
Connecting Odds applies row-level security on every database table, encrypts data in transit, and restricts service-role access to verified server-side functions. Specific certifications — when applicable — are listed here as we obtain them.
Sub-processors
We use managed cloud and email infrastructure to operate the service. A current sub-processor list is available on request to privacy@connectingodds.com.
Data subject requests
Candidates can export or delete their data from Settings. For organisation-routed requests, contact privacy@connectingodds.com.
DPA on request
A signed Data Processing Addendum is available for paying recruiter and company plans. Email legal@connectingodds.com.
