Cookie Policy

This policy explains the cookies and similar browser storage (local storage and session storage, together "cookies") that Connecting Odds uses, why we use them, and how you control them. It supplements our Privacy Policy. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell data collected through cookies.
What cookies are
Cookies are small pieces of data a website saves in your browser. Local and session storage work similarly but stay in your browser and are not sent with every request. Together they let a site remember that you are signed in, keep your settings, and understand which features people use.
The categories we use
- Strictly necessary: sign-in, security, bot protection and remembering your privacy choices. The site cannot work without these, so they are always on.
- Functional: preferences such as theme, saved drafts and setup progress. You can turn these off; some conveniences will stop working.
- Analytics: aggregate counts of visits and feature use. We do not use them to build advertising profiles. Off by default where the law requires opt-in.

Names ending in "…" include a project-specific suffix. Exact names can change when we update the service; the purpose and category stay the same.
Consent by region
In the EU, UK and Switzerland, and wherever we cannot tell your region, we ask before setting functional or analytics cookies. Elsewhere they are on by default and you can switch them off at any time. Strictly necessary cookies do not need consent because the service cannot run without them.
How to change your choices
- Open Cookie preferences to switch functional and analytics cookies on or off for this browser.
- Clear cookies and site data in your browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge all offer this under Privacy). This also signs you out.
- Private or incognito windows discard all of this when the window closes.
Your choice applies to the browser and device you set it on. If you use several devices, set it on each.
Third parties
Cloudflare runs the human check on sign-in pages and may set its own short-lived cookies under its privacy policy. If you sign in with Google, Google may set cookies on its own sign-in pages. Payment pages run by our payment provider follow that provider's cookie policy. We do not embed third-party advertising.
