The Job
- Review accounting transactions and records to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Prepare financial reports, reconciliations, and management information, and provide financial analysis to support business operations and decision-making.
- Review annual budgets prepared by operating units and provide support throughout the budgeting and planning process.
- Assist in the coordination and completion of annual audits for managed properties.
- Liaise with operating units, auditors, and other stakeholders, and handle accounting and financial-related enquiries in a timely manner.
- Perform other ad hoc assignments and duties as assigned.
The Person
- Degree holder in accounting or related discipline
- Student member of HKICPA or equivalent pursuing a professional accounting qualification is preferred
- Minimum 4 years of relevant accounting and financial reporting experience
- Hands-on experience in performing financial and management reporting at operation levels
- Experience in accounting and financial management for managed properties is highly preferred
- Proficiency in using MS Excel and office, and accounting software
- Hands-on experience with Oracle systems is an advantage
- Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese
- Accurate and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive approach to communication, coupled with good business acumen, professional etiquette, and the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and with meticulous attention to detail.
