It partners with IT/Digital, Data Operations, Data Capability leadership, process owners, change leads, business SMEs, vendors, partners, and other BMS functions to ensure digital and AI investments are understood, adopted responsibly, and sustained - coordinating project teams, managing adoption risks, tracking value realization, and escalating decisions or trade-offs through appropriate governance

  • Bring forward external and internal digital trends before they become urgent, translating them into business implications, opportunity areas, risks, and leadership-ready recommendations.
  • Shape the prioritized pipeline of digital and AI innovation opportunities by assessing value, feasibility, user need, technology fit, reuse potential, and alignment to GSC strategy.
  • Develop and defend business cases and recommendations for selected digital tools or adoption approaches, including expected value, investment rationale, implementation considerations, and adoption requirements.
  • Contribute input into the GSC AI roadmap under senior leadership direction, helping translate priority AI opportunities into practical pilots, adoption plans, and measurable business outcomes.

AI Acceleration & Program Delivery

  • Contribute to the prioritization and delivery of AI use cases within assigned GSC programs, ensuring alignment to department goals, business value, user needs, and enterprise technology direction.
  • Coordinate pilots, rollouts, and implementation activities for approved AI capabilities, including generative AI, analytics, decision support, automation, and AI-enabled workflow improvements.
  • Translate business requirements into clear use case definitions, adoption needs, success measures, and implementation plans in partnership with IT/Digital, Data Operations, and business SMEs.
  • Track milestones, risks, dependencies, and adoption outcomes for assigned AI initiatives, escalating issues and decisions through appropriate governance forums.

Learning Center for Digital & AI Capability

  • Establish and operate a GSC learning center for digital, data, AI, analytics, process, and platform capabilities, focused on practical understanding and real-world application.
  • Define role-based learning pathways that help GSC colleagues understand which technologies matter, what they can do, how to use them, and how they support business outcomes.
  • Develop training content, quick reference guides, playbooks, demos, showcases, onboarding materials, and knowledge assets for priority technologies and ways of working.
  • Build AI exposure and practical literacy within relevant GSC user groups by creating accessible learning content and helping teams understand how to use AI responsibly in daily work.
  • Connect internal SMEs, external insights, vendor material, partner input, and business examples into coherent learning journeys that are accessible, scalable, and easy to consume.

Digital & AI Adoption Strategy, Execution & Value Realization

  • Create and execute adoption strategies for new and existing digital and AI capabilities, ensuring solutions are introduced with clear value propositions, personas, stakeholder plans, role-based training, communications, learning plans, adoption KPIs, and sustainment actions.
  • Embed adoption support into the flow of work through in-application guidance, contextual help, onboarding journeys, workflow support, nudges, office hours, and role-relevant communications where appropriate.
  • Define and manage adoption KPIs for priority digital and AI capabilities, including usage, engagement, proficiency, training completion, process adherence, support demand, user feedback, and value realization indicators.
  • Identify adoption barriers, capability gaps, process friction, and user readiness risks, then coordinate targeted interventions to improve engagement, proficiency, and sustained usage.
  • Use adoption analytics, user feedback, process insights, and business outcomes to identify improvements and influence future roadmap or investment decisions.
  • Prepare leadership-ready updates that summarize adoption health, risks, decisions needed, value delivered, and recommended next actions for assigned initiatives.

AI-Ready Data, Standards, Governance & Responsible Use

  • Support identification of data requirements for assigned AI use cases, partnering with Data Operations and Data Capability leadership to clarify data quality, availability, ownership, and business rule needs.
  • Contribute to AI-ready data improvement actions by feeding use case requirements into data model design, data quality prioritization, and data lifecycle discussions.
  • Create practical standards for digital learning content, adoption playbooks, KPI definitions, feedback loops, sustainment practices, and community engagement across priority GSC technology initiatives.
  • Solve ambiguous and first-of-a-kind adoption and capability-building challenges, setting repeatable approaches that can become the standard for future digital and AI initiatives.
  • Promote and apply responsible use of digital and AI technologies, including privacy, data integrity, compliance, GxP considerations where applicable, cyber/security expectations, human-in-the-loop practices, and responsible AI principles.
  • Document assumptions, risks, decision points, and required controls for AI-supported workflows, escalating governance topics when broader decision rights are required.
  • Ensure learning and adoption content remains current, role-relevant, and aligned with GSC strategy, enterprise technology direction, and applicable policies.

Community, Stakeholder, Project & Team Leadership

  • Build and facilitate digital innovation, AI, and adoption communities of practice across relevant GSC sites, teams, and sub-functions to share lessons learned, reusable assets, success stories, and practical examples.

  • Lead defined project teams or workstreams, coordinating cross-functional contributors across business, data, digital, process, change, and learning groups, and providing coaching that builds adoption discipline and practical AI fluency.
  • Influence stakeholders at program, department, sub-function, and multi-site level through clear executive communication, business case storytelling, and practical adoption recommendations.
