About the Role
The
Agile Delivery Lead
is a key figure in ANZ's Digital Channel team, responsible for leading the delivery of initiatives using agile frameworks within multiple teams (i.e. squads). They enable teams to achieve high performance, ensure value delivery and drive continuous improvements across people, processes and technology.
The Agile Delivery Lead bridges business and technical teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and empowerment, leveraging regular cadence to remove team blockers & maintain delivery momentum.

What will your day look like?
Delivery Management
- Lead end to end delivery of multiple agile initiatives, ensuring delivery of business value within agreed scope, time and quality
- Define, manage and communicate delivery plans, risks, dependencies and progress to stakeholders
- Remove impediment and resolve issues for teams to maintain momentum and focus on outcomes
- Partner with Product Owners to prioritise backlogs and ensure alignment with strategic objectives
Agile Coaching & Leadership
- Champion agile principles, values and practices across teams and stakeholders
- Coach and mentor delivery teams, Product Owners and stakeholders to improve Agile maturity
- Facilitate key ceremonies (stand up, retrospectives, planning) and ensure they are outcome focused
- Foster a culture of trust, collaboration and empowerment within delivery teams
- Contribute to the development and evolution of Agile delivery frameworks and standards
- Discuss test approach with test lead, determine if there are any special requirements to test outcomes

Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
- Foster good two-way conversations with Initiative Lead on progress, risks and issues.
- Ensure transparency of progress for all teams rolling up to the deliverable
- Facilitate showcases to present the deliverable as it comes to life and use feedback to iterate
- Facilitate key ceremonies (stand up, retrospectives, planning and review) and ensure they are outcome focused
Agile Frameworks & Transformation
- Ensure Agile practices align with governance, risk management and compliance standards
- Adapt working cadence, delivery approach and operating rhythm to suit a changing environment
- Identify and implement opportunities to optimise delivery processes and tools
- Be an active mentor, coach or provide guidance for more junior Agile Delivery Leads
- Be an active member in broader Agile community, fostering continuous improvement
- Adhere to Agile principles, standards and frameworks as set by Agile practice
