About the Role
Accounting Analyst.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following
:
- Consolidate and validate Value of Work Done (VOWD) submissions received from Sponsors and Cost Controllers related to OPEX.
- Review recorded invoices and actual costs.
- Calculate, analyze, and validate monthly OPEX accruals based on VOWD, actual costs, memo reclass, and available supporting information.
- Perform variance analysis of VOWD and OPEX accounts for Profit Meeting reporting and analyze related A/P and accrual balances for Balance Sheet review.
- Coordinate with Sponsors and Cost Controllers to resolve VOWD/accrual discrepancies, clarify outstanding balances, and obtain supporting information and ensure timely resolution or cleanup of balances.
- Prepare and support the posting of OPEX accruals.
- Maintain AMS and Power BI reporting tools and support data-quality, automation, and process-improvement initiatives.
About You
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Strong analytical, teamwork and customer engagement skills
- Must have the propensity to work in a proactive, results-oriented, and customer-focused environment.
- Enjoys working with people of diverse cultural backgrounds
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiar with JDE
- Familiar with productivity tools (Power pivot, Power query, Power BI, etc.)
