Connecting Odds runs one MCP server for every client. Perplexity calls the same search_jobs and get_job tools, backed by the same ranked search engine the website uses - there is no client-specific search behaviour.

Remote MCP (Streamable HTTP). The endpoint is:

OAuth 2.1 with dynamic client registration. Perplexity redirects you to Connecting Odds, you approve the connection, and the client stores a scoped access token. You never paste a key, password or database credential.

In Perplexity, open Account settings, then Connectors. If your account offers Custom connector, select Remote and enter the Connecting Odds MCP URL. Organization members may need an administrator to enable custom connectors first.

Client interfaces change often, so follow Perplexity’s current MCP or custom connector setup flow and paste the URL above when it asks for a server address.

Perplexity documents local MCP connections in its Mac app. It also documents custom remote connectors for eligible organizations when an administrator enables them. Availability can differ by account and platform.

Perplexity also operates its own hosted MCP server. That lets other MCP clients use Perplexity tools, but it is separate from connecting Perplexity to Connecting Odds.

Connecting Odds has not completed an end-to-end Perplexity connection test, so OAuth, resources, and prompts remain marked as not verified.

If Custom connector is unavailable, check your Perplexity plan, platform and organization permissions. Local MCP is documented for the Mac app. Connecting Odds OAuth compatibility remains unverified until an end-to-end connection succeeds.

• MCP connection failed: Remove the connector and add it again with the copied URL, then restart the client.
• Authentication failed: Disconnect and reconnect to trigger a fresh sign-in, and approve the Connecting Odds consent screen.
• Tools not appearing: Refresh the connector's tools, then start a new chat or session.
• No jobs returned: Loosen one constraint at a time - drop the salary floor or widen the location - and ask again.
