We're looking for independent sales contractors who knock doors, earn trust, and do right by homeowners after storm damage.

What an independent rep does

• Finds homeowners with roof or storm damage, mainly by door knocking and through your own referrals
• Sells: walks homeowners through the company's proposal and contract, including their right to cancel
• May inspect by drone. Climbing ladders and roofs is optional.
• Supervises the project after the sale, with company training on project supervision
• The company handles estimates and all other work beyond selling and project supervision.
• You decide your own schedule, areas, and sales methods within our service states.

Honest-selling rules

• Reps do not negotiate insurance claims, act as adjusters, or represent homeowners to insurers.
• Reps never offer to waive, pay, or rebate a deductible.
• Reps must follow the local and state licensing, registration, and solicitor-permit rules where they sell.

Know before you apply

• Independent contractor (1099), not an employee. Commission-only, with no base pay, draw, or salary. No pay is guaranteed.
• You pay your own expenses (gas, phone/tablet, drone or ladder, and anything else you use). Expenses are not reimbursed.
• Leads: the company may pass along about 1-2 leads a month, but this isn't guaranteed. Expect most business to come from your own door knocking and referrals.

How commission is calculated All terms will be set out in a written independent contractor/commission agreement.

• Profit = job revenue (contract price or total RCV) − job costs (materials, labor, permits, dump fees, and other job expenses) − 10% of job revenue for overhead.
• The rep and the company split that profit 50/50.
• Illustration only, not a promise of earnings: on a hypothetical $20,000 job with $4,000 in job costs, overhead is $2,000 and profit is $14,000, so each side's share would be $7,000. Actual jobs, costs, and results vary, and many jobs earn less. Higher job costs mean a smaller share.
• When commission is paid: after the job's final check is deposited.
• Advances: may be available depending on job size. They're paid after the company deposits the job's first check, on terms in the written agreement.
• Cancelled jobs: if a job cancels, the company may call it even, depending on how much the rep has sold, as set out in the written agreement.

What you'll need

• Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and auto insurance
• Comfort knocking doors. A drone for inspections is a plus.
• Sales experience is a plus (roofing, solar, pest, home services, field sales). Veterans are welcome.
