UX Designer III, ProServe – Strategic Partners
About the role
UX Designer III, ProServe – Strategic Partners
In this role, you will
- Partner directly with product managers, account managers, integration team members, solution architects, and engineers to shape and deliver end-to-end experiences for your assigned strategic partner(s).
- Create concept pitches, vision narratives, and high-fidelity mockups that help partners see and buy into a future state, drawing on agency-style storytelling and presentation craft.
- Move fluidly between exploratory vision work and detailed design delivery - sketches, wireframes, flows, prototypes, and production-ready UI - without losing quality bar in either mode.
- Present design work directly to partner stakeholders with confidence and polish, adapting the story for a partner audience versus an internal one.
- Apply and extend design system patterns across our evolving B2B Design System (B2BDS) as well as EGDS, Expedia Group's broader design system, where relevant, balancing platform consistency with partner-specific brand configurations and customizations.
- Specify and quality-check implementation details - primary flows, states, edge cases, accessibility, and design system usage - and stay engaged through development hand-off and launch.
- Collaborate across a broader cross-functional team, building trusted working relationships with product, account managers, content design, research, integration team members, solution architects, and engineering.
- Use qualitative and quantitative insight, competitive context, and partner feedback to sharpen design direction and defend design decisions.
Experience and qualifications
- A UX Designer III with strong end-to-end experience: comfortable framing a strategic vision as well as executing detailed, production-ready design delivery.
- Design agency background, or equivalent experience pitching concepts and vision work directly to clients or partners.
- A portfolio with high polish - strong visual and interaction design craft, and clear storytelling about the problem and the solution.
- Confident and articulate presenting your own work to partner stakeholders, including in higher-stakes or executive settings.
- Skilled at working across a full team - product managers, account managers, integration team members, content design, research, solution architects, and developers - without needing heavy direction.
- Able to think through detailed interaction behavior, component usage, edge cases, and exceptions, not just high-level concepts - and produce developer hand-offs that are clear, complete, and easy to build from.
- Expert in Figma and modern UX workflows for prototyping, collaboration, and design communication.
- Experienced working within design systems and reusable components, and comfortable adapting them for partner-specific brand requirements.
- Grounded in human-centered design and motivated by high-quality customer and partner experiences.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Graphic Design, Visual Communication Design, User Experience, or a related field is applicable.
