US Partnership Manager – Basketball, Field Hockey & Baseball
About the role
What you will do
• Own the partnership strategy for basketball and shape it for field hockey and baseball, mapping each sport's landscape (governing bodies, leagues, circuits, tournament operators, and influential clubs) and prioritizing where Veo can win.
• Land and grow organization-level partnerships. Identify, pitch, negotiate, and close agreements with leagues, associations, and federations that embed Veo across their member clubs and teams.
• Drive adoption inside partner organizations through programs like video compliance (for example, leagues that require member teams to record their games), league-wide recording, and content and data solutions that give partners a reason to make Veo part of their operations.
• Own the full partner lifecycle: onboarding, training, support, co-marketing, renewals, and long-term growth, serving as the main point of contact for your partners.
• Build and test new go-to-market motions. Run pilots, starting in basketball, learn what works, and turn early wins into repeatable, scalable programs.
• Work hand in hand with Sales and Marketing to turn partnerships into pipeline, supplying sales teams with targeted resources, partner-specific offers, and co-marketing campaigns.
• Represent Veo in person at tournaments, showcases, conferences, and league events, and demo the product to coaches, athletic directors, and organizers.
• Amplify each sport's story by curating featured content and working with the social team to grow Veo's visibility in each community.
• Measure and report what matters: partner-sourced revenue, camera and club adoption within partner organizations, pipeline, renewals, and community engagement.
Who you are
• Partnership Builder: You know how to open doors at the organizational level, build trust with decision-makers, and negotiate agreements that work for both sides.
• Scaler & Pioneer: You enjoy doubling down on proven approaches and also blazing a trail in sports where Veo has less awareness.
• Strategic Operator: You can turn a partnership into measurable adoption and revenue, and you're comfortable owning a plan, a number, and a calendar.
• Community Catalyst: You energize coaches, athletes, and organizers, and you turn enthusiasm into advocacy.
• Competitive Closer: Basketball is a crowded market, and coaches expect a high-touch experience. You stay responsive, earn their trust, and win them over against established competitors.
Ideal background
• 3-5 years of experience in partnership management, business development, or market development, ideally in sports, sports tech, or another high-growth industry.
• A deep knowledge of the U.S. basketball landscape (club and travel circuits, high school and collegiate pathways, governing bodies). An existing basketball network is a big plus, and familiarity with field hockey or baseball is a bonus.
• A track record of forming and growing partnerships with leagues, associations, or similar organizations.
• Strong skills in strategy, project management, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to work independently with colleagues in Miami and at our Copenhagen HQ.
• Willingness and ability to travel 30-40% of the time, with peak travel around key tournament and event seasons (often weekends in spring and summer).
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
