TRAINING TECHNICIAN

THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION THAT REQUIRES MILITARY MEMBERSHIP. This National Guard position is for a TRAINING TECHNICIAN, Position Description Number PDD3024000 and is part of the Mississippi National Guard. MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Military Grades: E1-E6 Participation in direct deposit is mandatory. For positions requiring the operation of motor vehicles, candidates must have a valid state driver's license. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT & NOTES: 1. Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance. 2. Ability to establish effective professional working relationships with coworkers and customers, contributing to a cooperative working environment and successful accomplishment of the mission. 3. May be required to travel by car, in military and/or commercial aircraft, and by other means of transportation as appropriate to perform temporary duty assignments. 4. Irregular and/or overtime (compensatory) hours may be required to support operational requirements or contingencies or may be required to work hours outside of the normal duty day. 5. The work may require the incumbent to drive a motor vehicle; if so, and an appropriate valid driver's license is mandatory. 6. This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968. An individual convicted of a qualifying crime of domestic violence may not perform the duties of this position 7. Dual-status positions require military membership and adherence to professional development requirements, including training and certifications, to ensure readiness and compliance with National Guard standard. 8. Wear of the military uniform is MANDATORY.
