QA / Test Engineer — ServiceNow
Owns quality across the delivery - in-sprint testing, system integration testing, UAT support, and go-live/certification readiness.
Key responsibilities
- Test stories within each sprint against acceptance criteria and maintain the regression suite as scope grows.
- Design and execute SIT covering end-to-end and exception paths, including approval/control scenarios.
- Build and run the UAT kit with the BA (scripted scenarios, expected results, evidence capture) and support business users to sign-off.
- Verify controls as controls: segregation-of-duties enforcement, audit-trail completeness, and role-based access behaviour.
- Test automation behaviours (thresholds, fallbacks, limits) and support external certification testing where integrations are in scope.
Must-have skills & experience
- 3+ years testing ServiceNow implementations (or comparable enterprise SaaS), with Automated Test Framework (ATF) experience.
- Experience testing approval workflows and access controls, with awareness of evidence requirements in regulated environments.
- Strong exception-path testing instincts.
Nice to have
- Payments/banking test experience (file validation, certification cycles).
- Performance/load testing fundamentals for go-live readiness.
- ISTQB or equivalent certification.
