Your Role
As a System Administrator at Kyndryl, you'll solve complex problems and identify potential future issues across the spectrum of platforms and services. You'll be at the forefront of new technology and modernization, working with some of our biggest clients - which means some of the biggest in the world.
There's never a typical day as a System Administrator at Kyndryl, because no two projects are alike. You'll be managing systems data for clients and providing day-to-day solutions and security compliance. You'll oversee a queue of assignments and work directly with technicians, prioritizing tickets to deliver the best solutions to our clients.

What you will do
- Perform SAP BASIS administration activities across SAP landscapes (ECC, BW, Solution Manager, S/4HANA, Java systems).
- Monitor and maintain SAP systems to ensure high availability and optimal performance.
- Execute SAP kernel upgrades, support package implementations, and system refreshes/copies.
- Manage SAP transport activities and troubleshoot transport-related issues.
- Perform client administration, user administration, and security-related BASIS tasks.
- Monitor SAP background jobs, system logs, spool management, and interface connectivity.
- Support HANA database administration activities, including backups and recovery.
- Execute OS and database-level troubleshooting in collaboration with infrastructure teams.
- Participate in incident, problem, change, and release management processes.
- Support cloud-based SAP environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, SAP RISE) as required.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and operational reports.
- Provide on-call support and participate in planned maintenance activities.

Required Skills
- 3-5 years of SAP BASIS administration experience.
- Strong knowledge of SAP ECC, S/4HANA, NetWeaver, and SAP HANA.
- Experience with system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of SAP transport management and change management processes.
- Experience in system copy, client copy, refresh, upgrades, and patching activities.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix and Windows server administration.
- Understanding of backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and high-availability concepts.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or SAP RISE environments.
- Good understanding of ITIL processes and ticketing tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP BASIS or SAP HANA certification(not mandator. Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP) are a plus.
- Experience in SAP RISE operations.
- Strong communication, customer handling, and documentation skills.
