Salesforce Core Technical Architect DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION Salesforce Professional Services focuses on delivering strategic engagements that define transformational opportunities and articulate clear plans for execution of change programs. We rely on our team's expertise and specialisms to engage with executive-level customers to agree on specific business goals and actions to ignite the full value of Salesforce. Our approach considers people, process, and technology - and a successful engagement includes recommendations to the business for change to support deeper, more relevant use of the Salesforce platform. OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE Salesforce is currently seeking a Salesforce Core Technical Architect to join our Professional Services team within Professional Services. This role is centered on being a "Core Platform" subject matter expert, leading the design and implementation of enterprise-grade Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and platform solutions.

Drive the creation of application and technical design documents (Blueprints/FSD) which leverage Salesforce best practices and effectively integrate Salesforce into the customer's infrastructure. •

Design and guide customer's enterprise architecture across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and the Platform, highlighting the importance of data model, sharing/security architecture, and governance. •

Provide guidance on integration development best practices, Enterprise Architecture standards, and environment management. Lead code reviews and define coding standards (Apex, LWC, Flows). •

Facilitate and influence Executive Customer stakeholders while aligning technology strategy to business value and ROI. •

Deep knowledge of data modeling, sharing and security architecture, governor limits, and multi-org/landscape strategy, with a strong understanding of metadata and declarative-vs-programmatic trade-offs. •

Ability to clearly and articulately document solutions, including data flows, system diagrams, and technical artifacts. •

Ability to create a solution based on client requirements and map business processes into the Salesforce product suite. •

Knowledge of API patterns (REST/SOAP/Bulk/Platform Events) and experience integrating Salesforce with different business systems (ETL, middleware, legacy CRM). •

Lead inter-team meetings on technical and business challenges; conduct solutions testing and validation. •

Travel to client sites for onsite discovery and solutions presentations (estimated 25%). •

Familiarity with Agentforce, and platform-native automation/AI tooling. •

Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills, able to present complex concepts at both tactical and executive levels. •

8+ years in solution/technical architecture or consulting, with a focus on enterprise application design and complex integrations. •

Familiarity with adjacent clouds (Experience Cloud, MuleSoft, Data Cloud) and functional domains such as Finance, Telco, or Retail. •

6+ Core certifications + Agentforce Specialist & Data 360 certification. •
