Your Team
Your Role
We are looking for a self-motivated Prin. Solution Architect with a strong understanding of modern approaches for implementing technology solutions to provide technical leadership in our cloud application design. You will lead designing and reviewing all aspect of our technology ecosystem, and directly influence key architecture decisions. The ideal candidate will have a knack for simplifying complexity, demonstrates rigor, discipline, and transparency in decision making.
You Will Be Responsible For:
- Develop forward thinking strategies, processes, and best practices to reduce technical debt, improve data quality and increase observability and reliability
- Research, design, test, and evaluate new technologies, platforms, and 3 rd -party products
- Participate in deep architectural discussions to build confidence, influence decision making for both within and outside the team
- Ensure architecture standards by performing peer code reviews, analyzing performance, and evaluating security and scalability of code
- Mentor our engineers, leaders, and lead by example
- Participating in agile ceremonies (e.g., daily standup, release and sprint planning, demos, scrum of scrums)
The Experience You Bring
- At least 12 years of experience in IT consulting or a related field with a strong focus on conceptualizing solution architecture
- 5+ years in migrating/developing/architecting solutions in Cloud. Snowflake, AWS is preferred
- 3+ years in CI/CD pipelines and related stack - Git, Bitbucket, Docker, Kubernetes
- Experience in multi-cloud environments and in-depth understanding of IaaS, PaaS and SaaS solutions.
- Experience working in an Agile team and environment
- Technology Support Operations exposure is a plus
Academic requirements
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of the Financial Services industry a plus
