Your way to impact
Turn transaction-level data into clear insight on what is driving take rate, TE rate and margin: mix, card type, region, merchant segment, scheme fee changes and more. Build the dashboards leadership uses to monitor payments performance, replacing manual spreadsheets with scalable, automated reporting. Find margin opportunities, such as interchange optimization, scheme fee leakage, IC+ pass-through gaps and pricing outliers, and size them for Product and leadership. Improve the accuracy of forecasts by giving Corporate Finance reliable volume and rate drivers. Strengthen the link between operational data and the general ledger so our numbers tie out.
In your day-to-day role you will be responsible for:
- Writing and maintaining SQL queries to pull and transform transaction, revenue and cost data.
- Building and maintaining dashboards in [Tableau / Looker / Power BI] tracking TPV, revenue, transaction expenses, take rate, TE rate and margin.
- Running monthly and quarterly variance analysis (actual vs. forecast vs. prior period) and explaining the drivers in plain language.
- Supporting month-end close by reconciling revenue and transaction expenses with Accounting.
- Monitoring scheme fee and interchange changes and quantifying their impact on cost and pass-through.
- Doing ad hoc deep dives for leadership and Product, for example merchant profitability or pricing scenarios.
- Documenting data definitions and metric logic so everyone uses one version of the truth.
What do you need to bring
- 4+ years in FP&A, revenue analytics, business intelligence or a similar analytical role.
- Strong SQL skills: joins, window functions, CTEs, and working with large transaction-level datasets.
- Hands-on dashboarding experience in Tableau, Looker, Power BI or similar.
- Strong Excel/Sheets and financial modeling skills.
- A solid grasp of P&L concepts and variance analysis.
- The ability to explain complex numbers simply to non-finance partners.
- Payments experience is a strong plus: interchange, scheme fees, IC+ vs. blended pricing, acquiring and processing.
- Nice to have: Python, or data modeling experience; exposure to multi-currency or cross-border payments.
