Manager, Business Transformation – People & Culture (1 year contract)
About the role
ABOUT THE JOB
This hands-on role reviews and simplifies People & Culture (P&C) processes, builds automation tools, and turns P&C data into management insights. An engineering or technical background is essential, with the ability to understand data, build tools, and work effectively with a non-technical P&C team.
YOUR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review current processes
- Map P&C processes end-to-end (recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, performance, learning, C&B administration, leave and workforce administration) and document how they actually run today.
- Identify manual, duplicated, slow or error-prone steps and where data is re-keyed or lives in disconnected spreadsheets.
- Prioritise improvement opportunities by effort, risk and value, and agree a roadmap with P&C leadership.
- Enhance and redesign processes
- Redesign priority processes to be simpler, standardised and measurable before automating them.
- Gather business needs, analyse requirements, and translate them into practical process and technology solutions.
- Define the data each process needs, where it comes from and who owns it, so that one clean source of truth is created for P&C data.
- Set clear process standards, SLAs and metric definitions that can be tracked.
- Build tools
- Build automation workflows and internal tools (e.g. Power Automate / RPA, Python, low-code apps) that remove manual work and improve accuracy and turnaround.
- Build tracking and monitoring dashboards (e.g. headcount and movements, hiring funnel, attrition, process SLAs, compliance status) using Power BI / Tableau or similar.
- Build the data pipelines and quality checks behind those tools so the numbers are consistent and reliable.
- Turn the data into regular insight reporting and recommendations for management decision-making.
- Embed and maintain
- Gather requirements from and train the P&C team; produce simple user guides so the team can run the tools independently.
- Handle employee data responsibly, in line with data-privacy and internal security requirements.
- Track adoption and benefits (time saved, errors reduced, faster cycle time) and report progress.
- Fulfil other tasks as assigned by your People Leader and/or authorized representative of NAB Vietnam from time to time
