About us

Traditional banking has never really given you control over your financial life. Satispay exists to change that: to

empower people through finance

. That means making financial services easy and accessible for over 6.5M users. We started with payments, then benefits, investing, cards... and we're not done. Not even close. We follow the same logic every time: find a real problem, solve it properly, then look for the next one. The destination? To build the most loved financial platform in the world. If you own outcomes rather than tasks, stay close to what users need, and refuse to wait for someone else to fix what's broken - you'll find people here who work exactly in the same way. And together, you'll build something worth being proud of.

What you'll be doing

As our KYC Analyst, you'll ensure seamless onboarding experiences for our consumers while maintaining a comprehensive approach to risk mitigation, regulatory adherence, and exceptional customer experience. Here's what that looks like in practice: •

Perform due diligence

- Ensure appropriate client documentation is captured and provide timely onboarding for new consumers, using country-specific knowledge to confirm identity document authenticity. •

Meet productivity and compliance targets

- Manage a daily case queue and ensure consistent throughput while maintaining high-quality standards and SLAs. •

Analyse and assess profiles

- Verify identities, identify potential red flags, and conduct detailed customer risk assessments, escalating high-risk cases to the FinCrime team. •

Assist customers

- Provide assistance primarily via email during the verification and activation process to ensure a smooth and efficient experience. •

Perform periodic reviews

- Support refresh activities, re-verifying customer information and reassessing risk when triggers occur. •

Utilise screening databases

- Triage potential matches (PEP/sanctions/adverse media), reducing false positives through careful analysis and resolution.

Who we're looking for

This role needs someone detail-oriented, analytical, and customer-focused to ensure compliant and frictionless onboarding. •

Work background

- You have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role, ideally in a startup or the financial sector; customer care experience is also valued. •

Relevant Experience

- Experience in a high-volume, metrics-driven KYC or customer support role (e.g., meeting daily/weekly targets). •

Legal framework knowledge

- Direct experience or comprehensive training in anti-money laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures. •

Language proficiency

- Fluent in English. Knowledge of Italian is considered a plus. Don't worry if you don't tick every box. We believe in the power of different viewpoints and strengths. Your unique perspective is important as we build something special: if you're passionate and can make a difference, we truly encourage you to apply.
