Kitting Technician

• Pick and kit materials according to production orders, work orders, and manufacturing schedules.
• Verify part numbers, quantities, revisions, and material conditions before issuing kits.
• Ensure production kits are complete, accurate, and delivered to the production line on time.
• Perform SAP transactions for material movements, kit issuance, returns, and inventory adjustments.
• Monitor kit shortages and coordinate with Planning, Purchasing, and Warehouse teams to resolve material gaps.
• Manage excess, returned, and obsolete materials in accordance with inventory procedures.
• Support cycle counts, inventory audits, and annual stock-taking activities.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure inventory integrity.
• Follow FIFO and material handling requirements.
• Ensure compliance with EHS, quality, and operational procedures.
• Identify and implement process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Maintain good housekeeping and 5S standards within the kitting area.

Qualifications

• Diploma, NITEC, Higher NITEC, or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, or material management environment preferred.
• Familiarity with SAP or MES systems is an advantage.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
