At KONE Doors Business, we bring buildings to life. We're looking for a mechanically minded

Field Service Technician

to join our high-performing team in

Melbourne, VIC

. Whether you have direct doors experience or come from a related hands-on background, we would love to hear from you. No two days are the same as you manage the equipment and servicing of KONE's automatic doors, roller shutters and gates across low-rise housing through to the world's tallest skyscrapers.

What will you be doing?

  • Carry out preventative maintenance on automatic doors, roller shutters and gates.
  • Attend callouts and breakdowns.
  • Carry out installation and commissioning activities.
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with KONE policies and procedures, including health, safety, and quality standards.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships across the local region, delivering high-quality service and support.

What are we looking for?

  • 3+ years' hands-on experience in a maintenance or service position.
  • Experience in the doors industry is an advantage, but not essential.
  • Backgrounds in whitegoods, appliances, electronics, or similar service/repair roles are highly regarded.
  • Full driver's licence required.
  • Commitment to working safely with a strong focus on quality.
  • Customer service mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
