As a Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for managing deals from a contractual and commercial perspective throughout the entire deal lifecycle, ensuring compliance with contractual commitments and effective commercial risk assessment during all phases. You will negotiate contract terms and conditions, provide commercial leadership, and develop practical and innovative approaches to identify and mitigate contractual risks.
As a Contracts Manager,
you will be responsible for :
- Negotiating contractual agreements with customers and supporting cross-functional teams during contract negotiations, ensuring alignment with defined deal strategies.
- Supporting bid teams in proposal development, risk management, scope definition, pricing strategies, customer communications, and issue resolution.
- Managing commercial and contractual aspects of projects during execution, including commercial arrangements, variation orders, contract amendments, local content management, and compliance activities.
- Ensuring compliance with project-specific contractual administration requirements, including variation control systems, invoicing processes, and sales order management.
- Providing contractual guidance and support to cross-functional teams on commercial and contractual matters.
- Ensuring commercial risks are identified, assessed, and managed through project risk and opportunity review processes.
- Managing negotiations in line with contractual requirements, including supporting the formulation and negotiation of contractual claims and counterclaims.

To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Bachelor's Degree in Law, Business, or related experience.
- Be fluent in English and Portuguese.
- Have an understanding of key contractual and commercial risks and the ability to lead project risk review processes and assessments.
- Have strong negotiation skills and the ability to develop alternative contractual and commercial positions with customers.
- Demonstrate commercial acumen and business understanding.
- Have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Be an effective team player.
- Be willing to travel.
