Commodity Manager, Taiwan

• Actively work onsite with interconnect suppliers in Taiwan and Asia to ensure supply commitment and increase throughput - troubleshoot, identify and remove obstacles, escalate at supplier or at BE as needed
• Confirm status of major expansion projects
• Monitor supplier's SPC system for effectiveness
• Review and discuss project and delivery schedules, production volumes; facilitate recovery plans
• Track qualifications, specifications, quality processes, and issues
• Develop strong relationships with suppliers and gain a deep understanding of their capabilities, processes and capacity utilization
• Help plan BE visits to Supplier and attend as required
• Report back to HQ
• Develop strong cross-functional relationships to drive success. Teams may include colleagues from procurement, engineering, quality, and other departments as needed
• Utilize strong program management skills with the ability to understand strategic objectives, translate them into actionable milestones, and effectively track progress against key deliverables

• Bachelor's degree, technical degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in supplier management, commodity management, and/or quality management
• Ability to work closely with vendors under a rapidly changing environment

• Onsite at supplier; local and regional travel as needed
