About the role
The Technical Career Field (TCF) is a national workforce development program within VHA that was designed to replenish technical staff in critically identified positions. This position is being recruited at the GS-07 grade level only. Upon satisfactory completion of statutory requirements and contingent upon the recommendation of the supervisor, the incumbent may be promoted to GS-11 (target grade). Selection does not guarantee promotion to the target grade or full performance level.
