Audit Manager / Senior Manager | EY Special Projects Exciting opportunity to be a part of EY Special Projects Are you an experienced Audit Manager / Senior Manager looking to gain international exposure while working from Sri Lanka? EY Sri Lanka Special Projects team is seeking talented audit professionals to support complex offshore audit engagements across international markets. This opportunity is ideal for individuals with experience managing group audits, leading engagement teams, and working with clients operating across diverse industries. The role is expected to commence on 1 January 2027.

The opportunity

As an Audit Manager / Senior Manager in EY Special Projects, you will lead offshore audit engagements from home, working in line with the time zones of the countries you support.

Your key responsibilities

In this role, you will lead complex global audits end to end, driving quality, developing teams, managing resources, and building strong stakeholder relationships.

Skills and attributes for success

To succeed in this role, you should have the attributes of a proven audit leader with strong IFRS and ISA expertise, experienced in complex group and listed-entity engagements, virtual team development, communication, and stakeholder management.

Qualifications and experience

  • You must be an Associate or Fellow member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (ACA or FCA) or Association of Chartered Certified Accountants of UK (ACCA or FCCA) with relevant post-qualification experience at Audit Manager / Senior Manager level.
  • You must have experience auditing diversified groups, listed entities or organizations with complex reporting structures in manufacturing, consumer products, agriculture, telecommunications, logistics, investment activities or insurance industry.
  • Previous experience supporting international or offshore audit engagements would be an added advantage.
