About the role

Vibes Design LLC is looking for a data-driven problem solver to join our growing analytics team. As an entry-level Data Scientist, you will play a key role in translating complex datasets into actionable insights that inform our design and business strategies. This is a remote-first position designed for a technically proficient individual who is eager to apply their foundational skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will work closely with senior engineers and product stakeholders to build models that enhance our user experience.

What you'll do

• Analyze large, structured and unstructured datasets to identify trends and patterns.
• Develop, test, and deploy predictive models and statistical algorithms.
• Write clean, scalable code to automate data collection and processing pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define key performance indicators and measurement strategies.
• Communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders through clear visualizations and reports.
• Maintain and optimize data storage solutions using SQL and cloud infrastructure.

What we're looking for

• Proficiency in Python for data analysis and machine learning.
• Strong foundational knowledge of SQL for database management and querying.
• Competency in JavaScript and Java to support integration with our existing software stack.
• Hands-on experience or academic familiarity with AWS (Amazon Web Services) environments.
• Solid understanding of statistical modeling, probability, and research design.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining high communication standards.
• A degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.

Nice to have

• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, D3.js).
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Previous internship experience in a software or design-focused tech company.
