Utility Operator - Manufacturing/Welding – Stainless Steel/Hollow Metal Doors & Frames – Hialeah, FL

• Set up, operate, and maintain general manufacturing machinery and specialized welding equipment (MIG/GMAW, TIG/GTAW, LASER) to produce commercial stainless-steel doors and frames.
• Perform fit-up, tack welding, and final welds in multiple positions (flat, vertical, horizontal, overhead) while controlling heat input to minimize distortion.
• Assemble, polish, package, and inspect products, verifying tolerances against blueprints and dimensional drawings.
• Inspect welds visually, perform basic NDT tasks (e.g., dye-penetrant), and clean, grind, and finish welds to meet commercial appearance and corrosion-resistance requirements.
• Paint prep and paint hollow metal products.
• Carpenter skills: build crates to ship finished goods.
• Operate a forklift to safely load, unload, and transport raw materials, finished products, and equipment across the facility

• High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
• 2+ years of welding experience with stainless steel in a manufacturing environment (Required)
• Experience with commercial doors/frames or hollow metal products (Preferred)
• Prior experience and certification (or ability to become certified) in forklift operation (Required)
• Proficiency in MIG (GMAW) and/or TIG (GTAW), LASER welding on stainless steel (Required)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and dimensional drawings (Required)
• Ability to pass shop weld tests and quality inspections (Required)
• Basic math skills and the ability to use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, squares, and levels (Required)
• Physical stamina to stand, bend, reach, climb on platforms, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods in a fast-paced environment with exposure to heat, noise, and fumes (Required)
