Transportation Analyst
to join the Boeing Licensed Transportation Team
Position Responsibilities
- Develop leadership presentations based on metrics to show Boeing performance
- Conduct routine meetings for management and other leadership
- Assist in the management of processes for Boeing Licensed Transportation Drivers • Oversee Port of Seattle badging process
- Participate in driver hiring process
- Coordinate recognition events
- Analyze historical data, logistics performance, and trends to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement
- Develop and maintain written processes and materials
- Serve as backup for Department of Transportation (DOT) Analyst: • Interface with management at all locations to ensure regulatory compliance throughout The Boeing Company
- Provide management with visibility of compliance or non-compliance of company policies and procedures, as well as Federal and State Department of Transportation regulations
- Obtain oversize permits
- Perform Teamster Job Bidding process
- Coordinate classes for required internal and external trainings
- Provide administrative support, such as ordering supplies and materials, to ensure that management and drivers have resources needed to perform their duties effectively
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
- 5+ years of experience in performing data analysis
- 5+ years of experience in a role that required problem solving and analytical skills
- 3+ years of experience interacting with business partners and customers
- 3+ experience creating PowerPoint decks and presenting data driven recommendations to leadership, Management to Director level
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis with tools including Excel and Tableau including advanced features such as VBA and Macros and Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
- 3+ years of experience working with CDL drivers and analyzing transportation data
- 3+ years of Project Management experience
Summary Pay Range: $87,550 - $118,450
