Job Summary

Prior experience and/or education in EMC, ESD, RF/antenna, and/or signal integrity fields • Proficient in EMC design (schematic, PCB layout, and mechanical design for EMC) • Experience in testing and debugging prototype consumer electronics, including software/firmware and EMC issues • Familiarity with EMC test standards including EN55022, EN55032, IEC61000-3-3, IEC61000-4-2, IEC61000-4-3, IEC61000-4-4, IEC61000-4-5, IEC61000-4-6, IEC61000-4-11, and ETSI 301 489-7 • Experience supervising and performing EMC testing, with a focus on quality assurance and process optimization • Familiarity with lab equipment and maintenance procedures, including calibration and verification of ESD guns, surge testers, receivers, oscilloscopes, SAs, VNAs, cables, amplifiers, LISNs, and CDNs • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar for test automation and data collection • Experience in product testing and validation at contract manufacturers and at ISO 17025 accredited labs is a plus • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese, with experience generating technical reports

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide Technical Guidance And Solutions By Defining, Advocating, And Implementing Best Practices And Coding Standards In Test And Interface Processes, Ensuring High-Quality Outputs From The Team.
  1. Develop And Enhance Team Members' Technical Capabilities In Uc Board Bringup, Facilitating Knowledge Transfer And Increasing Overall Productivity.
  1. Ensure Process Compliance In Assigned Modules By Participating In Technical Discussions And Reviews, Serving As A Consultant For Feasibility Studies, Assessing Technical Alternatives, And Identifying Potential Risks.
  1. Prepare And Submit Comprehensive Status Reports To Minimize Project Exposure And Risks, Addressing Escalations Effectively And Promoting Proactive Resolutions.

Skill Requirements

  1. Solid Understanding Of Test/Interface/Uc Board Bringup Processes And Methodologies.
  1. In-Depth Knowledge Of Design Verification And Validation Techniques.
  1. Proficiency In Pcb Design Tools And Relevant Software Applications.
  1. Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Assess Technical Risks And Provide Effective Solutions.

  1. Optional But Valuable Certifications: Certified Test Engineer (Cte), Ipc Certified Interconnect Designer (Cid), Or Relevant Industry-Standard Certifications.
