Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled Software Test Automation Engineer with 3 years of experience in Python-based test automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test solutions to ensure high software quality.
Automation Testing
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Python.
- Create and execute automated test scripts.
- Improve automation coverage and reduce manual testing effort.
Test Design & Execution
- Analyse functional and technical requirements to create test designs and test cases.
- Perform manual testing (functional, regression, sanity, smoke) when required.
- Execute test cases and identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA.
Collaboration & Agile Practices
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)
- Provide timely status updates and test reports
Quality Assurance Best Practices
- Implement and follow QA processes, standards, and methodologies
- Ensure high quality, performance, and reliability of applications
- Perform root cause analysis for defects and recommend improvements
Required Technical Skills
Programming & Automation
- Strong proficiency in Python.
- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks.
Testing Knowledge
- Solid understanding of:
- SDLC & STLC
- Test case design techniques (boundary value, equivalence partitioning, etc.)
- Experience in:
- Functional Testing
- Regression Testing
- Integration Testing
- System Testing
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment
