Overview
TalentFish is casting a line for a
Snowflake Administrator
to support a large healthcare system implementing - Snowflake enterprise data platform. This role will be responsible for Snowflake administration, platform configuration, performance tuning, security, and integration with Informatica, Epic healthcare data systems.
The ideal candidate will have worked as a Snowflake implantation as an Administrator for a large healthcare system, Will have advanced SQL skills, and experience supporting enterprise data environments utilizing Informatica. Healthcare experience is required, particularly working with Epic data.
What You Bring to the Role. (Ideal Experience)
•
Snowflake Administration
3+ years of hands-on experience administering Snowflake environments, including platform configuration, virtual warehouses, databases, schemas, security, performance optimization - Snowflake implementation.
•
SQL Expertise
Strong SQL skills, including complex queries, troubleshooting, query optimization, and performance tuning.
•
Informatica Integration
Experience supporting Informatica ETL/ELT pipelines, data ingestion, and integration with Snowflake.
•
Healthcare / Epic Experience
Experience working with hospital data environments, preferably integrating Epic Clarity, Caboodle, or other Epic data sources into Snowflake.
•
Data Security & Governance
Experience with role-based access control (RBAC), data governance, HIPAA requirements, monitoring, and Snowflake cost management.
What You'll Do.
•
Administer Snowflake
Configure, maintain, monitor, and optimize Snowflake environments to ensure availability, scalability, security, and performance.
•
Support Data Integration
Partner with data engineering teams to support Informatica pipelines and the ingestion of Epic clinical, financial, and operational data into Snowflake.
•
Optimize Performance
Monitor workloads, troubleshoot SQL queries, optimize virtual warehouses, and manage Snowflake consumption and costs.
•
Manage Security
Implement user access, roles, permissions, data protection, and governance controls aligned with healthcare security and HIPAA requirements.
•
Support Implementation & Operations
Collaborate with data architects, BI teams, and hospital IT stakeholders to support Snowflake implementation, data warehouse migration, troubleshooting, and ongoing platform operations.
Compensation
$50-80/hr (plus benefits we offer healthcare on the first of the month after start date and additional quality benefits programs.
The expected compensation for this position will depend on experience and qualifications. TalentFish is committed to pay transparency and equal opportunity.
