Senior System Administrator

Univrses is a Stockholm-based 3D Computer Vision and AI company. We provide the perception and spatial awareness necessary for an increasingly autonomous world. While our roots are in the automotive sector, we have pioneered a new category: Infrastructure Intelligence. Our 3DAI™ system transforms ordinary vehicles into sophisticated mobile sensors, providing road authorities across Europe (Sweden, UK, Italy, and beyond) with real-time, actionable insights. We are shifting city management from reactive repairs to proactive, data-driven maintenance - saving costs, reducing CO2 emissions, and improving public safety.

As a Senior Sysadmin at Univrses, you will be the backbone of our technical operations, ensuring that our entire engineering organization has the stable, secure, and scalable infrastructure it needs to thrive. In this role, you will work closely with the CTO to design and maintain a company-wide infrastructure that is both resilient and secure . You will oversee the cross-functional systems that support all our research, development, and production environments. We are looking for a proactive professional to manage our cloud footprint and on-premise resources, ensuring our team of world-class engineers can work without friction. This is a on-site position since you will be responsible of our on premise infrastructure.

implement long-term infrastructure roadmaps that prioritize company-wide stability and data security. •

Design, deploy, and maintain robust server environments (both AWS and on-premise) that support multiple project teams. •

Proactively monitor system health and performance across the organization to ensure high availability for all internal and external services. •

Manage global resource allocation (databases, storage, compute). •

Implement and enforce company-wide security. •

Develop and maintain rigorous backup strategies and recovery procedures to protect company data and intellectual property.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. •

5+ years of experience in Systems Administration, Infrastructure Engineering, or SRE. •

Proven track record in patch management, software distribution, and maintaining system integrity across a fleet of machines. •

Deep proficiency in Linux/Unix administration and shell scripting (Bash, Python). •

Strong understanding of networking architecture. •

Proven experience managing AWS environments and containerized applications using Docker. •

A "security-first" and "stability-first" approach to managing infrastructure, with the communication skills to report directly to technical leadership. •

Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. •

Experience setting up company-wide monitoring using Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK. •

Experience managing large-scale data storage (S3, NAS, Artifactory).
