Senior Procurement Specialist - Marketing/HR

• With minimum guidance from senior team members, manage complex strategic sourcing activities in procurement consisting of soliciting bids, analyzing supplier responses, and making recommendations on supplier awards
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to formulate analytical efforts and to define business requirements for procurement projects
• Lead supplier negotiations using competitive benchmarking and comparative analysis
• Research and develop adequate sources of supply
• Evaluate the financial stability of potential suppliers
• Performs required business analysis including total cost of ownership
• Provide fact-based recommendations based on competitive benchmarking and comparative analysis
• Continuously seek out cost savings opportunities and lead efforts to realize those savings
• Manages supplier performance

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

• 2+ years of procurement experience

• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
• Demonstrated and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Superior presentation/communication and influencing skills
• Ability to prioritize, organize, and multi-task in a flexible, fast paced and challenging environment to effectively meet deadlines and projects by using appropriate methodology and tools
• Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
• Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills to work across functional and organizational lines with uncompromising ethics
• Superior problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to independently assess situations and respond accordingly
• Ability to deal with complexity and manage ambiguity
• Demonstrated project management skills and process mindset
• Superior knowledge and understanding of procurement or supply chain
• Superior knowledge on contract terms and conditions

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Supply Chain Management preferred

The base pay for this position generally is between $75,200.00 and $120,000.00 . The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
