Senior Process Engineers
About the role
Your next challenge
Who are you?
We are looking for someone with solid experience, a strong understanding of the process industry and a desire to use your expertise to solve the next challenge - not just the ones that have already been solved. You will work at the intersection of the forest industry, energy and refinery technology. For the right person, there is an opportunity to take on a project leadership role and contribute to developing new processes and applications for the raw material, carbon and energy flows within SCA.
You have a Master's or Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, process engineering or equivalent, and several years of experience in the process industry. Experience from, for example, refining, the chemical industry, the energy sector or other process-intensive industries is an advantage. Experience in project management, process design, process simulation, optimisation or technical development projects is particularly relevant.
We are looking for someone who:
- has strong process engineering expertise and can take responsibility for complex issues
- is used to analysing problems and turning analysis into practical solutions
- can move between details and the bigger picture
- enjoys working with people from different areas of expertise and across organisational boundaries
- is willing to challenge established solutions when there are good reasons to do so
- enjoys sharing your experience while continuing to learn and develop.
Knowledge of refinery processes, hydrogen, e-fuels, carbon capture or other relevant technologies is an advantage. Our core values - responsibility, excellence, and respect - form the foundation of everything we do at SCA. That is why it is important that your values align with them.
