Business Unit
Investor Communication Solutions (ICS) helps clients in North America and Europe meet their regulatory compliance needs and manage critical communications to shareholders. We serve banks, brokers, mutual funds, retirement funds, and corporate issuers. Proxy mailings and vote processing account for a large portion of ICS; the industry relies on us for quarterly and annual meetings, disclosure communications, prospectus, and other financial communications, like tax reporting, to investors in equity securities and mutual funds. ProxyEdge®, our innovative electronic proxy delivery and voting solution for institutional investors, helps ensure the participation of stockholders of many companies.
Roles & Responsibilities
:
- Coding and automated unit testing of assigned development tasks
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining Java applications that are often high-volume and low-latency
- Core Back-end Programming involving primarily collections and file handling
- Debugging and understanding existing applications and enhancing them
- Contributing in all phases of the development lifecycle
- Provide QA and Production Support for developed modules
Requirements / Qualifications
- 1 - 4 years of experience in Core Java and PERL applications development
- Hands-on - • Strings, Arrays, Date & Time Functions
- OOPs Concepts, Inheritance
- Exception Handling
- Collections and Data Structures
- File Handling and I/O (XML/EBCDIC/ASCII/JSON)
- Marshalling and Unmarshalling to process XML file
- MAVEN knowledge
- Java 21 features
- Exposure to Perl programming language
- Exposure to UNIX Environment
- Educational qualification - B. Tech / M. Tech / MCA
Nice to have
- JUNIT for unit testing automation
- Experience with test-driven development, Agile methodologies and Jenkins framework
- Good understanding of Git or similar version control tools
- Strong in programming concepts, debugging and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with good problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
