About the role
TODAY revolutionizes Financial Advice by making advisors AI-native. Its AI sales operating system supports financial and insurance advisors before, during, and after client meetings, so they save time and give their clients better advice.

Tasks
- Architect, build, and own core product features across our entire stack, from
AI
(Voice AI, STT, TTS, Microsoft Foundry, MCP, Deep Agents, LangChain, Langfuse) to
Python
(optionally
Golang and/or TypeScript
),
Postgres
, and
Microsoft Azure
infrastructure.
- Design and implement scalable
microservice architectures
on a modern infrastructure stack.
- Develop production-grade
AI products
, including features driven by LLMs, agents, and advanced
audio ML
.
- Integrate a wide variety of third-party
APIs, MCPs,
and data stores to expand our platform's capabilities.
- Get hands-on with
Voice AI
, building systems for audio analysis and processing, VAD, noise cancelation, turn management, and implementing robust evaluation frameworks for
evals
and
agent orchestration
.
- Champion a security-first mindset, ensuring the highest standards for
data, application, and infrastructure security
.
- Establish and drive a comprehensive testing culture, from
unit testing
to contract and penetration testing.
Requirements
- You have a proven track record of building and shipping
production-grade AI products
, especially in a startup environment.
- You possess rock-solid, hands-on experience in
Python
(and/or
Golang
),
Postgres
(or MySQL), microservices, and modern infrastructure.
ReactJS, TypeScript,
or
Electron
is also a big plus.
- You have experience with
API/MCP integrations
and can quickly get up to speed on new services.
- You have deep, practical experience with building AI Agents, integrating and evaluating
LLMs
,
prompt
engineering, and
evals.
- You have built scalable, responsive infrastructure under high-traffic and big-data regulatory requirements.
- Experience building prod-grade agents for the memory, context, and tooling challenges.
- You are exceptionally driven with a strong
entrepreneurial mindset
and are excited by the prospect of joining the team at an early stage.
- You are a pragmatic problem-solver who can translate complex requirements into robust, scalable, and secure technical solutions.
- Previous experience in FinTech, InsurTech, or other regulated industries is a plus.
