Job Description
We are looking for a
Senior Frontend Developer
with strong expertise in
React, JavaScript and TypeScript
to join our development team.
Your primary focus will be frontend development, working closely with the Lead Developer as a core part of the delivery team. You will contribute to the frontend architecture and development while working across frontend/backend interfaces and API integrations. Experience with
UI and API test automation
would also be valuable.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain frontend applications using
React and TypeScript
.
- Integrate frontend applications with
REST APIs, GraphQL, WebSockets and external systems
.
- Ensure applications meet requirements for
security, scalability and performance
.
- Deploy, operate and maintain applications within a
cloud environment
.
- Contribute to frontend
architecture and design discussions
.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring within the team.
- Collaborate with backend developers and other team members to ensure effective integration across the technology stack.
- Contribute to
UI/API testing and test automation
where required.
Required
- Minimum 7 years of total IT-related experience, with proven
professional frontend development experience
.
- Expert-level experience with
React, JavaScript and TypeScript
.
- Strong understanding of frontend architecture and the integration between
frontend and backend systems
.
- Experience integrating
REST APIs and/or GraphQL
.
- Familiarity with state management technologies such as
Redux
.
- Experience working within modern software development and delivery environments.
Highly valued experience includes
•
DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
.
- UI test automation using
Cypress, Playwright or similar tools
.
- Experience developing or maintaining
map-based applications/tools
.
•
MongoDB, Docker and Git
.
- Using AI-assisted development tools such as
AWS Kiro
.
- Efficiency and cost engineering.
•
Jira and Confluence
.
- Facilitation and collaboration tools such as
Mural, Miro and FigJam
.
