SECURITY SPECIALIST (PROTECTION)-TITLE 32

THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a SECURITY SPECIALIST (PROTECTION)-TITLE 32, Position Description Number D2617000 and is part of the KY DCSOPS, National Guard. Military Grades: MSG (E8) - LTC(O5) CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: May be required to successfully complete a trial period. Participation in direct deposit is mandatory. May be subject to furlough actions. Acceptance of a Federal position will terminate Tricare Reserve Select (TRS) eligibility. This position is located on a tobacco free facility. Must obtain and maintain a favorable adjudication of a T5 or equivalent investigation. This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968. An individual convicted of a qualifying crime of domestic violence may not perform the duties of this position. Must attended Supervisor Training: failure to complete Supervisor Training within 12 months of appointment will result in reversion to previous position. Must attend the ARNG Security Manager Course within 12 months of appointment. Must obtain the Security Professional Certification(s) within 24 months of appointment.
