THE ROLE
As a full-time max-term (12-months) Registered Nurse at Baptistcare Northaven Community, you'll provide safe, high-quality, person-centred clinical care while leading and supporting the care team around you. This is a role with real clinical responsibility and real human connection.
- Deliver safe, high-quality clinical care that keeps residents' health, wellbeing, and dignity at the centre
- Lead and support care staff, ensuring practice is within scope and standards are upheld
- Maintain clear, respectful communication with residents, families, and colleagues
- Ensure safe and compliant medication management
- Contribute actively to continuous improvement and clinical governance
- Maintain your own professional development and currency within your scope of practice
ABOUT YOU
You don't need a long history in aged care to thrive here - you need solid clinical foundations, a person-centred mindset, and the drive to lead well.
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (no conditions or undertakings)
- Experience in aged care or with elderly people (highly regarded but not essential)
- Confident clinical leadership - you're comfortable guiding a care team and holding the standard
- Strong communicator - clear, respectful, and consistent with residents, families, and staff
- Comfortable with basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Relevant worker screening as required (NDIS Worker Screening Check / WWCC where applicable)
- Proof of working rights in Australia
