As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for
- Performing parts inspection in accordance with applicable drawings and specifications.
- Completing and maintaining inspection records, inspection logs and calibration records for the testing, measurement, monitoring and detection equipment (TMMDE).
- Verifying completeness of all operations and records.
- Initiating non-conformance reports on all products, parts, assemblies and subassemblies that are not to requirements.
- Driving quality culture to their plant.
- Collaborating with site quality and manufacturing engineering on RCA, corrective actions and continuous improvement.
- Working with Baker Hughes management system databases and systems (SAP, Alfresco, QMT, BHOS, DocQuest etc.)
- Participating in quality audits, material review boards, kaizens or root cause analysis.
- Programing or calibrating TMMDE equipment.
- Following the competency management program requirements and works under GENERAL supervision.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have High School Diploma or certificate in technical discipline preferred
- Have 3 years' experience in Quality inspection in manufacturing industry.
- Have good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools
- knowledge of SAP QN or ORACLE NCM.
- Have ability to read and apply established procedures.
- Have ability to use Hardness Machine
- Have ability to perform dimensional inspection.
- Have ability to understand and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and procedures.
- Have ability to identify and use monitoring and measuring equipment needed to verify requirements.
