Project Manager
About the role
Overview
Moonshot is hiring a Project Manager to plan, execute, and close projects while ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and according to approved scope and quality standards.
This role coordinates cross-functional teams, manages project risks, communicates with stakeholders, and drives successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource plans
Execution & Team Leadership
- Lead cross-functional project teams and coordinate activities across departments
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards
Risk, Budget & Change Management
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues
- Manage project budgets and resources
- Oversee change management processes
Stakeholder Communication & Reporting
- Facilitate meetings and communicate status updates
- Manage stakeholder expectations
- Track KPIs and report status to leadership
Project Closeout
- Conduct project closeout activities and lessons learned
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 3 to 7+ years of project management experience.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Asana, or similar tools.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP certification.
- Agile, Scrum Master, or PRINCE2 certification.
- Relevant industry experience.
