PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT (ACCELERATED HIRE)

This PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT (ACCELERATED HIRE) is located in the Medical Group at an Air National Guard Wing and is part of the CA 129 RQW. Recruitment/Relocation Recruitment/Relocation Incentive MAY BE authorized, subject to funding and approval. PCS Relocation Costs IS NOT authorized based on determination that Permanent Change of Station (PCS) move is not in the Government best interest. Participation in direct deposit is mandatory. May be required to successfully complete a one or two year trial period. U.S. citizenship is required. Federal employment suitability as determined by a background investigation. Must maintain proper security clearance. This position requires current, unrestricted Active Reserve Component (ARC)/Unit Training Assembly (UTA) privileges through Centralized Credentials & Quality Assurance System (CCQAS). This position is restricted to those medical privileges granted by the ARC/UTA privilege list, which does not include any form of medical treatment. Must maintain the credentials and Readiness Skills Verifications (RSVs) required by AFSC. Will coordinate with NGB/SG and Medical Group leadership to maintain clinical practice skills requirements. Must attend applicable aerospace courses as required by NGB/SG. May be required to wear special protective clothing such as coats, boots, vests, respirator masks, and/or helmets. Must possess a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate Member may be exposed to occupational hazards in the normal course of duties (i.e., aviation environment, inspecting shops with occupational hazards, etc.). This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use. Must be able to obtain and maintain privileging for the DOD/AFMS/ANGMS IAW DHA PM 6025-13 Vol 4 and DAFMAN 44-119. Must maintain credentials requirements at all times (i.e. current and unrestricted state license, BLS, clinical competencies, etc.) IAW DHA PM 6025-13 Vol 4 and DAFMAN 44-119. 6/14/2022 TCPC Cramner.
