Float Phlebotomist

to join our team and cover areas from

Seattle

Issaquah

and various locations between and around both and regions.

Work Schedule

Monday to Friday, hours vary between 7:00am to 7:00pm, rotating weekends

Job Responsibilities

Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
Process billing information and collect payments when required
Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
Maintain patient and specimen information logs
Provide superior customer service to all patients
Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
Travel to additional sites when needed, Reliable transportation required

Minimum Qualifications

Washington State issued Phlebotomy license (MA-P)

Preferred Qualifications

1 or more years of experience as a mobile phlebotomist

Additional Job Standards

In lieu of state license requirement listed above, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the WA Department of Health at time of hire may meet license requirement
Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
Be at least 21 years old
Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
Flexibility to work overtime as needed
Exceptional customer service
Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
Ability to work independently or in a team environment
Comfortable working under minimal supervision

We are currently seeking a Float Phlebotomist to work in either a Patient Service Center or Client Office or Hospital. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. In addition, you will be provided opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.

QUARTERLY INCENTIVE BONUS PROGRAM * Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics

Pay Range

$21.87 to $32.28 per hour

Float Incentive

Additional $2.00/hourly plus mileage reimbursement All job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience and the terms of the collective bargaining agreement between Dynacare Northwest, Inc. and United Food and Commercial Workers Union, Local 21.

Regular, full-time or part-time employees working 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), accrue up to 18 days of Annual Leave per year (includes 8 holidays) and Sick Leave (0.0333) hours of sick leave for each hour of work) capped at 64 hours per year, Tuition Reimbursement and the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
