Metrics and Reporting Analyst (US Shift)

TransUnion's Job Applicant Privacy Notice What We'll Bring: &bull You will have a Bachelor of Science degree &bull 1-3 years of progressive work experience with data processing and analysis or related hands on college coursework &bull Experience in the credit reporting, financial services or direct marketing industry is preferred &bull Ability to analyze moderate to complex data using logic and quantitative reasoning, and an intuitive capacity for problem solving &bull Working knowledge of relational database; ability to manipulate/transform data using various ETL (such as Alteryx and PowerBI) &bull Proficient in data visualization tools including Tableau and Excel &bull Ability to translate system and business processes into relevant metrics and KPI's &bull Strong verbal and written communication skills &bull Independent and resourceful mindset with the ability to identify opportunities to optimize performance &bull Skilled in delivering high-quality output on time in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities &bull Works well in a team setting fostering collaboration and working toward consensus &bull Working knowledge of software development lifecycle principles and quality assurance What You'll Bring: &bull Prepare, manage, and deliver reoccurring Global Delivery BI reports and dashboards for management review &bull Work in conjunction with the Management team to develop and improve specific operational metrics &bull Collaborate across the organization to assist with the identification, development, and evolution of KPIs &bull Provide reporting expertise, support, and insight to Management, and department end users &bull Act as the liaison between various business units to integrate into BI reporting &bull Have a technical aptitude and can speak to our capabilities based on technology used &bull Develop and execute design concepts, code standards, and test plans in order to validate data blending output &bull Participate in identifying and implementing cost reduction opportunities and/or process efficiencies &bull Analyze data and test results to ensure data is accurately represented in reports and dashboards &bull Ability to identify and troubleshoot processing issues &bull Maintain documentation associated with Bi processes and reports &bull Maintain accurate, efficient and timely delivery of reports &bull Understand how process improvements affect quality and timeliness of reporting &bull Understand how strategic goal measurements impact department level goals &bull Participate in achieving department goals &bull Perform other related duties as assigned.
