Food Production - Machine Opr - Full Time - Kansas City, KS This facility is a highly automated meat processing/packaging facility located in Kansas City, KS. This position is responsible for operating machinery to ensure the continuous flow of product through the production process and ensuring proper ingredients/supplies are being used on the line. It is also responsible for monitoring and adjusting machine settings as needed and notifying the supervisor if machines should require maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Combining various meat and raw ingredients to formulate stuff and deliver the product to logs to the cooking system.  Operator Care-Basic lubrication, inspection adjustments, repairs, cleaning (CLAIRLEAN Manufacturing), sanitation, and contribute to a continuous improvement environment by participating in activities to include line side problem-solving. Contribute to a safe and organized work environment by maintaining a clean and orderly workspace.  Operate forklifts and both identify and act upon system-based error messages.  Resolve jams and equipment malfunctions. Open and close work orders in the MES system and monitor, interpret, and resolve system alerts.
