INFORMATION SECURITY SPECIALIST

This INFORMATION SECURITY SPECIALIST is part of the CA 163 ATKW. Recruitment/Relocation Recruitment/Relocation Incentive IS NOT authorized, subject to funding and approval. PCS Relocation Costs IS NOT authorized based on determination that Permanent Change of Station (PCS) move is not in the Government best interest. Participation in direct deposit is mandatory. May be required to successfully complete a one or two year trial period. U.S. citizenship is required. Federal employment suitability as determined by a background investigation. Must maintain proper security clearance. Department of Defense Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC), Security Program Integration Professional Certification (SPIPC) and Security Asset Protection Professional Certification (SAPPC) conferrals are required within 2 years of the established employee EOD or initial assignment date to this position in accordance with DOD 3305.13-M, DoD Security Accreditation and Certification. This position is designated as Essential Personnel and may be subject to duty in preparation for, or in response to, a state emergency or disaster declaration. This designation will not exceed 14 calendar days per year unless otherwise approved in advance. Security Clearance: at a minimum a National Agency Check is required prior to position assignment.
