FUEL DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM OPERATOR (Title 32)

This position is with the 147th Attack Wing located on Ellington Field JRB in Houston, TX. The primary purpose of this position is to manage fuel on behalf of the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) which consists of operations and maintenance of a fuel distribution system that includes a Type III Hydrant fuel system (at Air Refueling Wings). Texas is one of 9 states with NO state income tax. Appointment Factor(s): This is an Excepted Service position that requires active membership in a compatible military assignment in the Texas Air National Guard and wear of the military uniform. Texas Air National Guard membership required. Area of Consideration: Excepted. This includes: All currently employed Texas Military Department full-time permanent, indefinite and temporary personnel of the Texas National Guard, and All current members of the Texas National Guard.
