We're looking for a Porter to join our Front of House team based at The Harley Street Clinic. Working within one of the UK's leading private healthcare facilities, you'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the hospital while helping to deliver an exceptional experience for patients, visitors and colleagues. This is a varied and hands-on role where no two days are the same. You'll support departments across the hospital with portering, security, patient transport and logistics duties, helping to ensure services run safely, smoothly and efficiently at all times. As a Porter you'll provide professional support across the hospital environment, assisting patients and visitors while maintaining high standards of customer service and operational excellence. From supporting emergency response teams and managing waste streams, to transporting patients and assisting with deliveries across site, your work will make a real difference to the overall patient journey. You'll become part of a collaborative and supportive team where professionalism, compassion and teamwork are valued every day. What you’ll do

Taking patients and visitors to their rooms
Transferring patients between hospital departments
Delivery of mail, equipment and materials
Hospital blood rounds
Collection and disposal of refuse (including clinical waste and sharps)
Assist in managing Medical Gas
Assisting the undertakers' team
Medicine and fluid delivery/ storage
Carry out security/fire patrols of all internal and external Hospital Buildings, and to ensure all incidents are recorded in the correct manner
Driving of the shuttle bus across different Wellington Campus sites

What you’ll bring

Physically fit, able to lift heavy items when required
Full UK, clean drivers license is essential
Previous experience in a similar role is essential
Excellent communication and customer skills
Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures
