Job Details
Operate the milling process at a feed mill to combine feed ingredients per a formula to provide a finish product for deliver to farms.
Responsibilities
•
Batching Feed
Operate and monitor batching equipment to ensure accurate and timely mixing of feed ingredients.
•
Quality Control
Perform quality checks to ensure feed meets specified standards and report any discrepancies.
•
Inventory Management
Maintain accurate records of feed ingredients and report inventory levels.
•
Equipment Maintenance
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of batching equipment to ensure proper operation.
•
Safety Compliance
Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
•
Documentation
Keep detailed logs of batching activities, including ingredient usage and batch numbers.
•
Collaboration
Work closely with other team members to ensure efficient feed production and address any issues that arise.
•
Requirements
- At least three (3) months of experience with processing equipment used in food processing (i.e. grinders, blenders, knife sharpening tools) OR 3 months of experience in the operation and maintenance of machines like slicers, etc.
• The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodion.
