Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Network DevOps Engineer to join our team in Fremont, CA. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in developing and architecting reusable, robust, and scalable code, with a strong background in network analysis, test automation, and distributed systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and architect robust, scalable, and reusable code for network infrastructure and automation.
- Design and implement connectivity testing frameworks for automated testing across various network projects.
- Develop serverless testing solutions for environments where direct server access is limited.
- Create and expose REST APIs to facilitate data exchange with UI components.
- Implement data visualization tools, such as bandwidth performance and heatmap for beamforming.
- Develop features to highlight critical alerts and crashes for quick resolution.
- Optimize test execution time through offline log collection and efficient data management.
- Automate data purging and log maintenance from cloud VMs and storage systems.
- Contribute to open-source projects related to network connectivity and AI/ML platforms.
- Develop in-house network analysis and test automation tools for network switches, supporting continuous integration and regression testing.
- Automate build testing, test plan execution, status monitoring, and result reporting.
- Design and implement distributed architectures to handle high volumes of simultaneous connections and pending tests.
Skill Requirements
- Programming Skills: Python, Ansible, Shell Script
- Database: Postgres, MSSQL, SQLite
- Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD)
- Experience with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines
Nice to Have
- Develop microservices and containerize applications (UI, API server, File server, Worker) using Docker.
- Automate deployment, backup, and restore processes on private cloud VMs.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in software development
